we currently use hsqldb  for single use  and postgresql for performance
and network needs.  

Turquaz project uses hibernate and it is database independent. Will take
a look at daffodil db and if its ok, we can tell the clients "Turquaz
Financial accounting is also compatible with daffodil db and you can use
it without any charge". 

Actually, it is up to the clients to decide which database server to
use.
